A Prayer for the Team

Suzie McGuinn is a team member from Durham. She is Tammye Wilson's cousin. Her church sent the following email to their congregation:

Dear Friends,

Every week, we send out an email to provide updates and information on needs and concerns affecting members of our St. Philip’s community. Please know that we will never share personal information or prayer concerns without your stated permission. To share a prayer concern or thanksgiving, please email or call me.

I ask your prayers for the following members of our St. Philip’s community:

For Suzie McGuinn and her companions from Burlington NC, as they travel to Haiti on a mission trip Jan 23-30. Please pray for safe travels and strength and compassion for the team, and for all those whom they will serve.

Let us pray:

O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation and whose presence we find wherever we go: Preserve Suzie and those who travel with her, surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey’s end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
